Philosophy

Life is too short to use anything else...
Urthly Organics began in 1998 from Julie’s life long hobby of collecting soap. Once that first batch of soap was made and tried there was no turning back.

Urthly Organics produces mostly organic products formulated by Julie, attention is taken to acquiring ingredients straight from the grower where possible and producing in a sustainable environment.

The soap making journey is my life long dream so thank you for being a part of it.

Urthly Organics produces organic soap using saponified oils of Victorian uncertified organic olive oil grown in northern Victoria, coconut oil grown in Malaysia, certified organic cocoa butter from Africa, Australian macadamia oil and certified organic hempseed oil grown in northern NSW along with Ghana produced raw shea butter.
The essential oils used in soap are not organic due to the cost involved but most of the additives such as cocoa, lavender flowers, spices and milks ARE certified organic or uncertified organic, home grown and naturally edible, therefore making them safe on your skin. All products NEVER contain any of the following commonly found ingredients that can effect your wellbeing; SLS, SLES, parabens, fluoride, titanium dioxide, glycols, Fragrance oil and mineral oils. Be mindful that each handcrafted product may differ slightly in appearance from the photos.

Urthly Organics is proudly 100% palm oil and palm derivative free. Nicnas registration NIC1000088

See-Nin, rescued from the dog meat trade in Thailand, www.soidog.org. July 2016, update, See-Nin has been adopted out to a family in Canada so I have transferred the sponsorship to Aylin.

Aylin's Story

My name is Aylin and I came to the shelter with a nasty wound around my tail and bottom. The wound was terribly painful and full of maggots. Sadly, my tail had to be amputated and I am also incontinent. Despite this, I am a very happy girl who loves to go on walks and play with the other dogs in my run. Sadly, because of my health issues, I am not likely to be adopted, but I will always be well cared for here at Soi Dog.
